Pitch-In is a national campaign to increase community involvement in creating cleaner and healthier spaces in the community. In Callander, this event is held in the spring, and the community clean-up is an opportunity for residents of all ages to contribute to the beautification of their community and the cleaning of their environment. Community members gather at Centennial Park to collect their waste collection materials and move throughout the community to collect waste. Material is provided for free from Pitch-In Canada. The event is held on or near Spring Clean Up Day, either late April or early to mid-May.
