With the water testing showing a reduction in manganese these last couple of days, OCWA (our water contractor) intends to conduct flushing throughout the system on Monday-Wednesday next week, in hopes of quickly resolving the discolouration issue. As is normal with flushing, this may cause increased discolouration before it gets better. For the public’s purpose, we have developed a short video, and a page referencing frequently asked questions about manganese in the drinking water.
