The Callander Community Centre is the community’s hub for recreational activities. The Centre includes a commercial kitchen and the following included locations that are available for use.
Discover the perfect venue for gatherings at our Community Centre Large Hall, featuring a 375-person capacity. With adaptable seating options for up to 350 in a classroom style or 200 seated around tables, this space suits various events. Enjoy a full commercial kitchen, bar, coat room, and inclusive equipment like tables, chairs, podium, and a 24’ x 12’ stage with sound system. An excellent choice for seamless, memorable occasions.

• Rental Key Pick-Up - During summer hours we close at 1 pm on Fridays.
• Key Non-Return Fee: $50.00
• Noise By-Law Exemption for Event: $75 (applicable after 11pm)
• These rates are subject to change without notice and are reviewed on an annual basis. Half day = up to 6 hours
• Full Day = anything over 6 hours
• The Renter is responsible for ALL set up and clean up associated with the event/rental.

During the booking process, you will have the option to leave a note specifying your preferences. If you wish to book only specific areas (e.g., Kitchen Only or Large Hall and Kitchen), please leave a note indicating your preferences, and our team will contact you to finalize the details.
*If you do not rent the entire facility for your event (Large Hall, Kitchen, Orton Room and Bill Barber), another event could be booked in the portion of the facility that has not been rented.

The Community Centre Orton Room is a versatile rental space with a maximum capacity of 100 individuals. This room accommodates up to 75 people in classroom-style seating or up to 40 people when arranged around tables. The area comes with a kitchenette that includes a microwave and fridge. It’s important to mention that there is no stove, but the setup is designed to meet basic culinary requirements. The room offers flexibility with 6 round tables and 2 rectangular tables available for use, along with 50 chairs to facilitate various seating arrangements. Additionally, the presence of 2 change rooms/washrooms adds to the convenience and functionality of the space, making it suitable for workshops, meetings, and small-scale celebrations.
