In light of the current weather forecast predicting unfavorable conditions this weekend, Callander Fire & Emergency Services has made the difficult decision to once again postpone Sirens in the Park. The event has been rescheduled for September 21, 2024, and will take place rain or shine.
If weather permits, the event will be held at Centennial Park on Main St. However, if weather conditions are less favorable, Sirens in the Park will be relocated to the Bill Barber Complex at 1984 Swale St. in Callander. Regardless of the location, attendees can look forward to representatives from various emergency services, including fire, police, and paramedics, along with a display of emergency services vehicles. The event will also feature bouncy castles and, of course, the movie in the park (or in the Bill Barber arena), where we will be showing the animated film Elemental.
We apologize for any inconvenience this postponement may cause and appreciate your understanding and continued support. Our commitment remains to provide a safe and enjoyable event for all attendees, no matter the weather.
Please stay tuned for further updates as we approach the new date. We look forward to welcoming everyone on September 21st for a day of community engagement and fun!
