Prepare Before an Ice Storm

❄️ Ice storms can cause sudden, long outages. Stay safe by preparing ahead:
• Test smoke & CO alarms (battery‑operated or battery‑backup)
• Keep flashlights/lanterns ready—avoid candles when possible
• Have at least one phone that doesn’t require electricity
• Unplug appliances during outages to prevent fires when power returns
