While Public Works Week lasts just a few days, the work continues year-round.
Much of Public Works is preventative—fixing problems before they happen.
The Ministry of Natural Resources (MNRF) and the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority (NBMCA) have issued a Flood Warning for portions of the region, along with a Watershed Conditions Statement – Flood Outlook for the broader watershed.
