Ontario’s Fire Code now requires CO alarms on EVERY floor and near ALL sleeping areas in homes with fuel-burning appliances, attached garages, or heating from a fuel-burning source.
Multi-unit buildings and care facilities must also comply.
Use CSA, ULC, or ETL certified alarms.
