Hatch & Grow Families is a home-based family business located outside of Callander, offering a combination of birth and postpartum doula support and nature-based early years programming.
Founded by Meg, a former educator with a background in outdoor adventure leadership and forest school education, Hatch & Grow Families is rooted in the belief that families thrive when they feel supported, connected, and given opportunities to learn and grow together.
The Hatch aspect of the business focuses on providing compassionate, non-medical emotional and physical support to families throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. The Grow aspect offers child-led, nature-based programming for babies, toddlers, and young children, encouraging outdoor exploration, sensory play, resilience, and connection with nature.
Programming takes place on a rural property with outdoor trails, natural play spaces, and a cozy indoor bunkie that provides a comfortable space for feeding, diaper changes, and warming up during colder weather.
Hatch & Grow Families aims to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where parents can build community, children can explore at their own pace, and families can feel supported through the early years of parenthood.
