Special Meeting Cancelled

The Head of Council has canceled the meeting today under Section 4.6.1(c) and Section 4.6.2(c) of the Procedural By-law.

It reads:

4.6.1 “A meeting may be canceled by the Head of Council in consultation with the Senior Municipal Director and/or Clerk, in the following instances: … (c) in the event of an unforeseen, significant event …”

4.6.2 “For the purpose of section 4.6, an unforeseen, significant event includes, but is not limited to, the following: … (c) Clerk/deputy clerk’s inability to attend”.

The SPLASH PAD is now open!

The splash pad at Centennial Park is now open daily from 10am to 8pm
