TAKE NOTICE THAT the Council of the Municipality of Callander will hold a virtual public meeting under Section 34(12) of the Planning Act on Tuesday July 21st, 2020 at 6:50 p.m. at the Council Chambers, Municipality of Callander Office, 280 Main Street North, Callander, Ontario to review and provide context to the proposed amendments to the Comprehensive Zoning By-law No.2014-1407.
AND TAKE NOTICE that, due to COVID-19 precautions, the public may only attend the meeting via electronic means. Any person can make representations in respect of the proposed By-law Council will at the said meeting hear public submissions by internet or phone. Those seeking to speak must make arrangements with the Planning Administrator by phone or email, no later than 4:30 pm on the scheduled date of the meeting.
PURPOSE AND EFFECT of the proposed amendments to Zoning By-law No.2014-1407 is to make some technical changes including the clarification to the definitions section to include Payday Loan Establishments and to permit Payday Loan Establishments in the Highway Commercial (C3) Zone.
There is no key map attached to the notice given that the provisions of this by-law apply to the whole of the Municipality.
