Hec Lavigne Memorial Donations

Hec Lavigne Centennial Park Beautification Project

In honor of the late Mayor Hector D. Lavigne, the family has set up the “Hec Lavigne Centennial Park Beautification Project” fund to provide for memorial donations to contribute to the continuation of Hec’s vision of Centennial Park as a family-oriented, community space.  The Lavigne family appreciates the support already shown for this project.

For anyone still wishing to donate: cheques can be dropped off at the Municipal Office at 280 Main St. N., Callander or mailed to: The Municipality of Callander, Attn: Treasurer, PO Box 100, Callander, ON P0H 1H0. Please make your cheque payable to “Hec Lavigne Centennial Park Beautification Project”.  Cash donations can be made in person at the Municipal Office.

Please note that the Municipality of Callander does issue official tax receipts.  There was some conflicting information provided concerning receipts at the visitation, so for clarification, the Municipality will issue official receipts for income tax purposes for amounts of $20.00 or more, upon proof of donation.  For donations made in cash at the visitation, please bring the receipt issued by the funeral home to the Municipal Office at 280 Main St. N in Callander, or contact the Treasurer at the Municipal Office for further details. For donations made by cheque at the visitation, the Municipality will use the information on the cheques to issue receipts.  If the information on your cheque is incorrect, please contact Louise Rainville-Beauchesne, Treasurer at or 705-752-1410, Extension 223.

Thank you.
